We’re Hiring - Part-time Digital Content Creator and Social Media Manager

Part time, contract role to support a well known busy personal development author, speaker and coach with the day to day running of social media platforms, content creation and content strategy.

We’re looking for a proactive, creative, organised Social Media Manager & Digital Content Contractor to support our brand across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. This is a flexible part-time role for someone who understands platform growth, can optimise content performance, and takes full ownership of day-to-day execution.

About the Role

This role is the digital engine of the business; managing our social presence, creating and repurposing content, engaging with our audience, and implementing simple growth strategies to help expand our reach. You’ll help shape how the brand shows up online and ensure we’re consistently visible, engaging, and growing.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end social media management across all platforms

  • Daily posting, scheduling, and content optimisation

  • Repurposing long-form content into short, high-impact posts

  • Editing short-form videos for Reels, Shorts, and TikToks

  • Writing captions and matching brand tone

  • Managing comments, DMs, community engagement

  • Uploading and optimising YouTube videos (titles, tags, thumbnails)

  • Monitoring insights and identifying growth opportunities

  • Implementing simple growth and audience optimisation strategies

  • Maintaining a content calendar and planning ahead

  • Basic design work (tiles, quotes, thumbnails)

  • Weekly performance reporting with recommendations

  • General digital admin and support

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Have experience as a social media manager or content creator

  • Understand audience growth, analytics, and optimisation

  • Can turn raw content into polished, engaging posts

  • Have strong writing and video editing skills

  • Are organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently

  • Love systems, consistency, and creating digital momentum

Hours & Flexibility

  • Part-time contractor role (approx. 10–20 hours per week)

  • Remote and flexible.  Working from your own place, ideally based in NZ.

  • Weekly check-ins
