We’re Hiring - Business Manager

Part time, contract role to support a well known busy personal development author, speaker and coach with the day to day running of the business and be my right hand person.

You will become competent in diverse and wide ranging business activities. Your willingness and ability to learn will be one of your greatest assets. From administration to project management to marketing - you will upskill quickly. This role requires a holistic approach, so you will gain knowledge in all aspects of running a practice. There are many learning and development opportunities available.

Must be a self-starter, able to work remotely and alone often.  You’ll need solid administration skills and attention to detail with the ability to see improvements and understand process and business opportunities.

With a can do attitude, positive outlook, you’re a person who enjoys learning with a passion for personal development.  Reliable with a good work ethic, you’re action orientated you get stuff done and deliver on time.  Proactive, you drive the business forward and are invested in the success of the business. 

We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn, self driven and able to think ahead, suggest improvements and get things done.  Someone with great event management skills and who is awesome on social media (especially Facebook, Linked in, Instagram and Youtube).

Day to day duties include managing emails, taking bookings, invoicing arranging travel, booking venues and organising events and book tours.  Maintaining the website (squarespace) and CRM (mail chimp) as well as processing money in and out using Xero.

Must enjoy admin as they’ll be a lot of it but also needs to be business savvy, able to suggest improvements, figure stuff out and continuously improve the way we do things.

Starting at 10 hours per week, likely to increase up to 15 over 6 months if desired.  Working from your own place, ideally based in Auckland or close by, would consider Wellington or other centres too.
